Chapter 06
Searching inside the palace of Ravana
Aanjaneyar searches the houses of Ravana’s sons, Bruhasthan, MahaPaarsvan, Kumbakarnan, Vibheeshanan,Mahodharan, Viroopaakshan and others to around twenty houses. ( I am wondering while searching in the night, Aanjaneyar could see and identify the occupants of the palaces, may be nameboards must have been there). The house design and construction, costly and hanging type decorative lamps, Sleeping cots with edges studded on either side with costly diamond s and precious stones, aartistically carved doors project the life style at those times. It depicts the highly civilized and enjoyable lifestyle they were following.
Inside the palace, he could not find Sita Amma and he goes further around the palace. He saw well stationed elephants, horses, Armed guards and then the harem, which is filled with ladies and damsels, who are the attractions for Ravana. Varieties of plants, creepers, trees, beautifully carved statues, erotic Paintings on the wall which provoke men sexually. Dance sounds and music were filling the air.
Aanjaneyar enters the most important area of the palace.
This chapter brings visually the pomp and luxury they all enjoyed in regular life as a routine.
- There capability in civil engineering, mechanical, wood working, metallurgy, heat treatment to produce different forms of articles, ornaments and other accessories. That level of knowledge is really astounding, we feel with pain where those capabilities have gone from this part of the world.
Unless they existed, Sage Valmiki could not have described in depth as though he was seeing them in front of him and giving a visual running commentary in his slokas. Where we can find answer to our thoughts ?
Lesson – 6 :
Deeper the diversions take you in different directions, focus must be fully with us in our mind towards the goal - Aanjaneyar indicates this from his self experience.
Let him bless us to be like that way.
Thus the Sixth chapter of Sundarakandam is completed

Chapter 07
Aanjaneyar looks at PUSHPAKA VIMANAM
Aanjaneyar saw a huge bird-like object studded and shrouded with costly precious stones and diamonds. The object was the Pushpaka Vimanam, airoplane. It was made of gold and it was very spacious.Allvarieties of flowers and flowering plants were spread on on it. It was looking a mountain with green cover. The majestic look of the plane was looked at with awe and curiosity by Aanjaneyar.
Aanjaneyar was wondering at all the things he saw so far in Lanka which confirms the presence and continuous blessings of Goddess of wealth, Mahalakshmi. But so far he could not locate the presence of Sita Amma , who is the embodiment of Goddess Mahalakshmi.
Lesson -7 :
Aircraft concept and usage was prevalent in those times and the construction of Pushpaka Vimanam. It was designed to fly as per the mental instruction given by the pilot. It did not require runway to land as well to take off. It flies at very high speeds. Today technology and one at that time have totally different approach. This makes us to bow down out of respect to our learned and highly skilled aero engineers of those times.
Let Aanjaneyar who is determined to find Sita Amma infuse in us the intense focus on the main agenda while he must bless usto get back that level of expertise and knowledge of those times to us .
Thus the Seventh chapter of Sun

More details about PUSHPAKA VIMANAM
As Aanjaneyar saw the Pushpaka Vimanam, his mind was filled with divinity and surprise at the capability and provisions in the Vimanam. As his mind was thinking deeply about it, Sage Valmiki devotes one chapter for the details and description of the vimanam as a tribute to the great people who conceived it and manufactured it in those times.
This aircraft hasa vertical take off and landing provisions. It can fly at any altitude, change directions and axial rotations based on the mental commands of the pilot. All these will not cause any discomfort to the passengers inside due to change of gravity. The space inside the aircraft houses a city with all provisions along with beautiful greeneries and garden. We can see it as the real Dreamliner which is much above that of the present day claimer . d it was specially built by uone is the biggestof all and it was specially built by the topnotch engineer of those days , Viswakarma. This was made for kuberan and on a fight with Ravana, this was forcibly taken over by Ravana and kept to himself.
Even today we celebrate viswakarma puja every year mostly in north India making him as a worshippable god without getting his knowdge through the time and generations.
Lesson – 8 :
Aanjaneyar gives the insight of the importance of this aircraft with the description and the sage Valmiki devotes one chapter here in addition to mentioning about it in the last chapter. We pray to Aanjaneyar to bless us with knowledge, courage and fearlessness to boldly conceive new ideas and implement them successfully for the benefit of the society.

Chapter 09
Harem area in the Palace
Ravana’s Palace and its surroundings gave the impression that the entire wealth of the Devaloka has descended to the entire palace area of Ravana. Aanjaneyar searched for Sita Amma inside the Pushpaka Vimanam. Fine smell of the cooked food and those dishes under preperation attracted anyone to come for the dining hall . All the passages leading to the hall and also the separate Drinking area were tastefully decorated and fully carpeted with costly well designed carpets.
Over the high class carpets, Aanjaneyar saw bright and beautiful ladies sleeping after heavy food , sexual enjoyments and intoxication due to excessive drinking, and also the gigantic Ravana lying amongst them sleeping amongst the ladies who were all forcibly brought from various kings whom he had defeated in wars.
Aanjaneyar felt it a sin even to think whether Sita Amma would be here since she was so much attached to her husband Rama maintaining her high level of chastity. These thoughts prompted and guided him to continue his search for Sita Amma in other places.

Lesson – 9 :
Aanjaneyar shows in this chapter that whatever high level of detractions or wrong approaches you get into, you have to come out immediately to pursue you aim and ultimate objective of success in your work.
Aanjaneyar is with you if you submit to Aanjaneyar in totality.

Chapter 10
Aanjaneyar seesMandodhari
The harem was located inside the Pushpaka Vimanam. There were many ladies with glamorous appearances and full of ornaments, sleeping in different poses. Away from this crowd, was a separate cot, with full of studded precious stones and diamonds and powerful fragran t perfumes sprinkled all over giving the ambience suitable for physical enjoyments and stimulate all human senses.
Thelady lying and sleeping on the cot was capable of writing new definitions to Samudrika Lakshanam. She looked peaceful, with brightness of the sun and the coolness of the moon radiating together from her face , with the tender breeze moving across was the small description she can be put into. With such divine look, Aanjaneyar hurriedly came to the conclusion she may be Sita Amma. The flash of thought immediately gave wayto one of sanity. Without her husband nearby, and in a very upset situation, how can it be Sita Amma lying on the bed and having sleep. I must have made a huge mistake , he was cursing himself and came to the conclusion she must be Ravana’s Queen Mandodhari. With a clear mind he proceeded further with his search in other parts of the place.
Lesson – 10 :
When we jump into conclusions when we are desperate, we can commit grave mistakes which will take us off the correct course to reach our destination. Correct immediately without harping over the mistake but to ignore and proceed further is what Aanjaneyar gives you knowledge and guidance.
